The large vertical pump elliptical guide pier consists of three parts: a guide cone (1), a guide support column (2), and an elliptical horn mouth (3). The guide cone (1) can be fixed on the bottom plate of the suction tank with anchor bolts, and the elliptical horn mouth (3) and the guide cone (1) are connected by the guide support column (2). The upper end of the elliptical horn mouth (3) is docked with the pump casing. This elliptical diversion pier has a simple structure, low cost, good diversion effect, small hydraulic loss, and high pump efficiency. It can be widely used in large vertical inclined flow pumps, vertical axial flow pumps, and vertical suspended semi submersible vertical turbine pumps, and has good economic and social benefits.
